Notification #2: Blue Top Distribution List to Transition to Federal and Agency-Approved Emails Only on June 13

Please note, beginning June 13, 2019, the Blue Top newsletter distribution list will be cleaned of all non-government email addresses that aren’t approved by an Agency Lead. This change is being implemented to improve security, ensure the legitimacy of recipients, and remove email bots that are currently subscribed.

If you are currently subscribed to the Blue Top newsletter with a federal email addresses (e.g., @gsa.gov; @usda.gov; @mail.mil; etc.), no action is required and you will continue to receive the newsletter each month.

MSO Distribution List Cleanup Complete

The MSO conducted its annual distribution list cleanup in February and March. The effort provided Agency Leads the opportunity to update their agency POCs for MSO communication efforts. Thank you to the agencies that provided updates. If your agency experiences a change in POCs outside of this annual cleanup effort, please contact the MSO at gsamso@gsa.gov so we can ensure our contact lists are up-to-date.

Release 15.1 & New USAccess Scheduler Tool

Release 15.1 is scheduled to go to production this weekend, March 23-24. Please plan for the USAccess service to be unavailable from 5:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, March 23 through 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 24. This release was rescheduled from the previous weekend.

Release 15 Issues Resolution Status Summary

The MSO and Perspecta are working on an After Action Report for Release 15 with lessons learned, allowing us to adjust processes and procedures in future releases and improve service to our customers. The MSO distributed email communication to the Agency Leads with updates regarding resolution to the ongoing issues to Agency Leads.

Card Stock & Consumables Inventory Management Tool (CSIMT)

Please remember, agencies that are opted into the USAccess Local Printing Service can place orders for card stock via the Card Stock and Consumables Inventory Management Tool (CSIMT) within the Site Manager portal. This tool allows local print agency role holders to order, distribute and manage blank card stock inventory to be used for printing cards locally. A job aid containing instructions to place card stock requests is posted to the GoLearn Portal and TRACKS.

Core Services Transition Update

The Core Services transition equipment deployment is set to conclude on March 31. This deployment includes Fixed Credentialing Unit (FCU), Mobile Credentialing Unit (MCU), and Light Activation (LA) equipment. Unless previously discussed with the MSO, all requests for equipment after March 31 will be treated as a new order and will be billed accordingly.

Annual Contact List Cleanup: Response Requested

The MSO is in the middle of its annual distribution list cleanup. Agency Leads should have received an email from the MSO in the last month including an attachment listing all agency representatives on the USAccess distribution lists and all agency ALP accounts. Agency Leads, please review the lists and provide any necessary changes to the MSO.

Reminder for Agencies to Register MCUs on Site Manager

If you have received a Mobile Credentialing Unit (MCU) as part of of the USAccess transition process, please remember to register your new equipment on Site Manager. There are step-by-step instructions in the MCU Setup Guide for how to add a site in Site Manager, as well as how to add end dates to your current LCS workstations. Please reach out to your Agency Lead or the gsamso@gsa.gov inbox if you have any questions.
