GSA Reverse Auctions is a GSA e-Tool used to facilitate the request for, and submission of, quotes using a reverse auction process. This government-owned and managed reverse auction platform has been designed to maximize competition through transparency and real-time pricing with increased savings to the Government and taxpayers. This efficient and cost effective reverse auctions e-Tool can be used to solicit quotes/bids for both commodities and services through GSA and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) contracts, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) issued by GSA and other federal agencies against Schedule contracts, Agency-specific Multiple Award Contracts (MAC), and Open Market acquisitions.
