We just went live on the GSA last friday, so I only voted no because of that....I must add we are very excited to get some movement on through the GSA yet, understand it may take quite a while. In the meantime we are working out the kinks for all the process we have in place to process orders as they arise...if they arise;) My project in the matter has been shipping labels, thankfully I have sourced out a company to provide .pdf files of lables as we need them and I can print them right here in our office. My question though, does anyone else do this as well? I am looking for advice, and positive/negative feedback.

Thanks so much!

Congratulations Kristiemae - we just celebrated our first anniversary on GSA Advantage and we have been very happy with our results so far.  I am sure the orders will come!  Good luck.

Once we got past the negotiations, through the Award process, then uploaded on GSA Advantage, we thought that the worst was behind us!

But once in a while you find that the rule have been changed and the only way you find out is when you make sure that your online catalog is still looking good, and find that something has been changed and its hard to find out why!

I am hopeful that this site will be as good a resource for vendor partners as it is for the buyers.

We were just awarded our GSA contract last week! We are beginning to upload to GSA Advantage. Does anyone know if we can upload more products than our original offer?

Some items have been deleted and more have been added since our propsal.

Maggie Glynn

Congratulations on your award!  But you can only upload items included in your original proposal, or you will have to prepare a modification prior to upload so that the CO can make sure that everything complies with the terms of the contract.

Good luck!

just make sure if you are just now loading to Advantage that it matches what is currently on your Schedule (Original - deletes + adds). Keeping up with Advantage with your actual Schedule items can be a challenge (especially if your prices change!) but once you do it a few times, you'll get the hang of it! :-)  best of luck!  Congrats!

First of all, congrats!  I think GSA has put a hiatus on new awards after a certain submission date so you just got in under the gun...so I've heard :-)

The answer is ...no, you cannot put on GSA Advantage what you don't have actually on your Schedule (ie has been approved by your CO).

Every item is auditale and should be traceable, therefore you cannot mis-represent any items on Advantage.  So, you won't be able to load more items than you have on the Schedule but through e-mod you should be able to add and then add to Advantage!

Hope this helps!

Thanks, we submitted on Sept 29th, 2010, just before the Oct.1 deadline, just got the contract # last week. Thanks to all for the help! I have sent an email to our CO to help with submitting an eMod.
