On April 4, 2022, the DUNS Number will no longer be used to identify entities doing business with the federal government. It is being replaced by the Unique Entity ID (SAM).
If you are using a DUNS Number in a saved search on SAM.gov, you need to replace the DUNS field with the Unique Entity ID (SAM) field. If you don’t update your saved searches, they may not display the expected results after April 4, 2022, or may generate an error until you remove or replace the DUNS Number field with the Unique Entity ID (SAM) field.
To edit a saved search, sign in to your SAM.gov account and use the steps here to make changes to your saved search.
Note that the Federal Service Desk (FSD.gov) can’t fix or change your saved searches. You need to take action and follow these steps to be sure your saved searches show the expected information.
