General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Professional Services and Human Capital (PSHC) is pleased to share the first of a series of program updates relevant to a future draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Services Multi-Agency Contract (MAC).
GSA’s intent is for the Services MAC contract program to be organized by Domains - functional groupings of services spanning multiple NAICS codes. Domains are designed to align order requirements to qualified industry partners. At this time, GSA anticipates awarding Domains in phases. This update is focused on the initial Domains that will be solicited.
GSA will prioritize and add new Domains based on data-informed assessments of need (e.g., gaps in existing BIC solutions, anticipated demand changes, emerging administration directives, etc.). Future Domains will be introduced in close coordination with stakeholders and supported by market research.
GSA is taking the following important factors into consideration while planning for the prioritization and sequencing of Domains for the new Services MAC:
PSHC will release additional program updates and subsequent sections of the draft RFP in the coming months. This will ensure industry has adequate opportunity to provide feedback before releasing a complete draft solicitation next calendar year.
