GSA Connects Veterans to Federal Procurement Resources

As we prepare to commemorate Veterans Day, GSA will put Veteran Small Businesses in focus, connecting our veterans with valuable resources to support their federal procurement journey. GSA honors the service and the sacrifice of our veterans on Veterans Day and every day.

Contracting with veteran-owned small businesses is a win for both the federal government and those businesses. The government and the American taxpayer benefit from the skills and knowledge of veteran entrepreneurs, while veteran-owned businesses are given opportunities to grow their businesses and create jobs.

GSA has a strong track record of expanding opportunities for veterans. During fiscal year 2020, GSA awarded more than $577 million in prime contracts to veteran-owned small businesses, with more than $477 million in prime contracts going to veteran-owned small business owners with service-connected disabilities. These small businesses bring the services and expertise of the private sector into government operations.
