SAM.gov and beta.SAM.gov Will Be Down This Weekend for Integration

SAM.gov will be completely unavailable due to scheduled maintenance from Friday, May 21 at 4:00 PM EDT through Monday, May 24 at 9:00 AM EDT as it is integrated into the modernized environment. This means you will not be able to search for, create, or update entity registrations, exclusions records, Service Contract Reporting, or BioPreferred reporting. You will also not be able to access your My SAM for updating any user-specific data. Your systems will not be able to pull SAM.gov data using an existing interface.

Our modernized environment, beta.SAM.gov, will also experience scheduled maintenance from Friday, May 21 at 8:00 PM EDT through Monday, May 24 at 9:00 AM EDT while we complete the integration. Sign-in will be disabled during this time. This means you will not be able to sign into the system to create or modify a user role, create or modify a saved search, create or modify a following, create or modify a contract opportunity, create or modify an assistance listing, create or modify a Collective Bargaining Agreement, create or run any report in the databank to include standard or ad hoc reports in Contract Data Reports, or manage an entry in the federal hierarchy. Interface connections require authentication through API keys and will also be unavailable during this time. However, you will be able to go to beta.SAM.gov to search and view currently available public data while we work behind the scenes.

This integration joins our modernized beta.SAM.gov with the legacy SAM.gov, IAE’s largest system, where users register to do business with the federal government, find exclusion records, and perform other tasks.  After the integration, the system will be known only as SAM.gov (no more “beta”).

After May 24th, SAM.gov users will see a home page enabling them to perform tasks currently found at beta.SAM.gov, such as searching for contract opportunities, finding wage determinations, and more, as well as the things they can do at SAM.gov today, all under a single sign-on.

You can learn more about what’s changing with the SAM.gov integration here on Interact; see our blogs about overall changes, changes to search, workspace changes, and more.
