Request for Information - Modernization of GSA Catalog Management Environment

As a part of the Federal Marketplace Strategy, the General Services Administration seeks to modernize its catalog management infrastructure and develop the Common Catalog Platform (CCP), with the intention of replacing the Schedule Input Program (SIP). On behalf of GSA, the Catalog Management team has issued a request for information to solicit inputs from current Multiple Awards Schedule (MAS) contract holders on current and future state catalog management infrastructure to better inform CCP requirements.

Respondents will have the opportunity to help shape the future state of catalog management, including defining desired features and functionalities for the Common Catalog Platform. The CCP is intended to provide an improved user experience with new functionalities that make it easier and more efficient to manage catalogs, ultimately improving the catalog data available to GSA customers.

This RFI is intended for MAS contract holder personnel who directly engage in catalog management activities on behalf of their company, including managing price lists, utilizing the Schedule Input Program (SIP), utilizing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), or working with a consultant to submit a catalog file on their behalf. MAS contract holders interested in responding should go to this link.
