Catalog Management a part of GSA’s FMP Strategy

Groups audience: 

Catalog Management (CM) is one of the four Cornerstone Initiatives of GSA’s Federal Marketplace Strategy, or “FMP”. Through the FMP Strategy, GSA will:

  • Make it easier for buyers to find and acquire products, services, and solutions that meet their mission needs
  • Reduce barriers to doing business with the government, and improve access to opportunities for qualified suppliers
  • Empower the FAS workforce to spend more time performing the highest value activities and focus on excellence in service delivery

Specifically, through modernizing and simplifying our catalog management capabilities, GSA will ensure:

  • Buyers can easily search, compare, purchase, and receive offerings that meet their requirements
  • Suppliers can easily add and modify offerings
  • The FAS workforce can easily access and analyze data
