REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: MAS Modification Guidance

As we approach the MAS Consolidation Mass Mod that will move all current contractors to the new MAS vehicle, we understand that our current contractors need consistent guidance that outlines how to modify their contract(s) based on the new consolidated MAS vehicle’s streamlined terms and conditions and available offerings.

After a full review of all current guidance used across our seven MAS Acquisition Centers, we have created a single MAS Modification Guidance that we believe clearly outlines the information required to facilitate an easy and timely execution of a modification.

Now that GSA’s internal review is complete, we are making the proposed MAS Modification Guidance available for public comment to collect feedback for the new consolidated Schedule that was released on Oct. 1, 2019. The notification linked in this notice provides a draft version of this guidance, along with instructions for submitting feedback.

Please go to the following link to view the notification and provide feedback: https://feedback.gsa.gov/jfe/form/SV_6zXhD1CnJYFaX1H

Thank you for your continued partnership.

Following the close of the RFI on the proposed MAS Modification Guidance, when does GSA plan to make available a final MAS Modification Guidance document?

We have heard that GSA is placing a hold on the addition of SINS from the end of January to approximately mid-March. During this time GSA eMod won't allow the option to add SINs. Can you please let us know if this is the case and give some guidance? Thanks.

To ensure no hiccups when accepting the Mass Mod, GSA is suspending the ability on January 30 in eMod to submit modification requests for "Add SIN" and "Delete SIN" modification under the legacy Schedules. The ability to process “Add SIN” and “Delete SIN” modifications will be restored March 14. All other modification types will continue to be accepted throughout Phase II of MAS Consolidation.
