Software Life Cycle Development - Update 5

Registration is now open for Systems Simulation, Software and Integration (S3I) Software Life Cycle Development Industry Day in Huntsville, Alabama on June 12, 2019. During the Industry Day the Government will provide Industry Partners (IPs) with an update on the S3I acquisition strategy and the Software Life Cycle Development requirement, which is being led by the GSA FAS AASD. This event is offered to all One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Pool 4 IPs as well as other IPs including EXPRESS, subcontractors, and teaming partners. The GSA FAS AASD intends to release draft sections of Task Order Request (TOR) for the Software Life Cycle Development requirement prior to the Industry Day event. The Government estimates a five year period of performance.

The Industry Day will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 with registration beginning at 8:00 AM at the Jackson Center, 6001 Moquin Drive, Huntsville, Alabama, 35806. Seating will be limited to no more than four (4) individuals per company. The number of registrants from each company will be tracked. When the limit has been met, no more registrants for that company will be permitted. Each company shall register to attend the Industry Day by no later than 5:00 PM Central Time (CT) on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.

The following are some important details:

1. The event is only open to U.S. Government Agencies and their contractors. Information and documents to be presented at this event are labeled Distribution Statement C (See DoD Instruction 5230.24 Distribution Statements on Technical Documents).

2. All nongovernment registrants will be reviewed and verified to ensure the company is a U.S. Government contractor. Those who cannot be verified as a U.S. Government contractor will not be permitted to attend the event.

3. All nongovernment attendees will be required to register prior to the event. Each attendee will be required to show identification and be listed on our registration sheet.

*Please note registration for this event is first come, first serve! Registration will be turned off if we reach capacity. If we reach capacity we will inform you through this Interact site. Individuals will receive an email notice from aasd.armys3i@gsa.gov if their registration is rejected.

Please be advised the Government will not discuss the following items at the Industry Day:

1. Performance under any current Task Order(s) supporting these requirements.

2. Questions regarding the Independent Government Cost Estimate or anything related to cost/price information.

3. The Government will not discuss any specific or final decisions as it relates to technical evaluation criteria for the requirement.

4. The Government will not respond to any questions that reference potential solutions or technical approaches the offeror could provide.

5. If an offeror’s question points to an omission, error, or ambiguity in the draft requirements released, the Government will address it in the TOR. At the discretion of the CO, selected questions and answers may be released via the Virtual Reading Room.

 

IPs are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this advance notice or for attendance to any Industry Day events. This notice is for information planning purposes only and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any actual procurement. This notice does not constitute a solicitation or a promise of a solicitation issuance in the future.
