EIS Change Notice

The Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) program is being impacted due to CenturyLink’s acquisition of Level 3.

NOTE:  This impacts EIS only; there are no changes to the Networx, WITS 3, or other contracts with CenturyLink or Level 3.

1.     EIS Partners: Level 3 will no longer be an EIS contractor.

2.     EIS Contracts: The Level 3 EIS contract is being renamed as CenturyLink.  The initially-awarded CenturyLink contract has been terminated for convenience at the request of CenturyLink.

Examples of changes you will see include:

EIS Pricer:

Only one CenturyLink contract and prices will be available in the EIS Pricers.

Transition Inventory:

Transition Inventory (TI): No impact.

All Agency Inventory (AAI): The current contract data will not change. The mapping of inventory data to EIS services (both primary and secondary), CLINs, Core Based Statistical Areas (CBSAs), and other contract components may change. Changes to AAI data will follow Pricer changes and may take up to a month to appear in the AAI reports.  User guides and the monthly notification will highlight these changes.

We will post another notice once these changes are final.
