Technology Business Management (TBM)

The Office of Government-wide Policy (OGP) within the General Services Administration (GSA), in partnership with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), is soliciting ideas from Industry regarding how the Federal Government can effectively and efficiently aggregate and analyze data across the federal enterprise. Of interest to the Federal Government are capabilities to automatically ingest data from multiple, disparate sources of structured and unstructured data, extract-transform-load the data to help inform spending and consumption based transparency, and use advanced data analytics and business intelligence capabilities (such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA), data mining, machine learning, self-learning, comparative/predictive analytics, or other innovative technologies) to provide a standardized view of IT spend through the various layers of the Technology Business Management (TBM) Taxonomy. Software solutions should accommodate an interoperable environment through a variety of data-transfer and sharing options such as the use of application programming interfaces (APIs), service-oriented architectures, or other metadata best practices.
