GSA Awards the Maintenance, Repair and Operations Requisition Channel Blanket Purchase Agreements

The General Services Administration (GSA) awarded the new Maintenance, Repair and Operations Requisition Channel Blanket Purchase Agreements against Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) 51V.

The MRO Requisition Channel BPA’s are a significant step forward in supporting GSA Global Supply, our customers, and improving acquisition efficiency and effectiveness in the federal government. These are Government-wide BPAs that allows GSA Global Supply to provide National Stock Numbers (NSNs) as well as part numbers from different tools and hardware categories. Through this channel, GSA’s civilian and military customer agencies will continue to submit requisitions to GSA which will be fulfilled by GSA Global Supply. The overall goal of the MRO Requisition Channel BPA is to provide the government with a superior contract vehicle to expeditiously fulfill requisitions for MRO supplies and commodities at competitive prices with prompt, cost-effective delivery and premier customer service.

These MRO BPAs are part of  the strategic, government-wide movement to “buy-as-one” through Category Management. Located under the Industrial Products & Services hallway on the Acquisition Gateway, this solution will complement the MRO Purchasing Channel Solution, and allow customer agencies to purchase National Stock Numbers as well as part numbers to meet their mission.

Additional Contract Details:

●     Supports socio-economic goals; 16 of the 18 BPAs were awarded to small business.

Schedules 56 and 51v have some similar characteristics, but are each unique, however, sometimes overlaps occur in terms of vendor offerings.
