In July 2015 we witnessed a human tragedy in Chattanooga, Tennessee when a shooting incident that began at a military recruiting office ended at a nearby U.S. Naval Reserve facility. Four U.S. Marines died that day and several other people were wounded before the shooter was killed. In the aftermath, the Navy revisited its policy on weapons and storage at Naval Recruiting offices around the country.
