Do You Have OCI Concerns?

Over the past few months, Industry members have expressed concern regarding the possibility of running into an OCI-- Organizational Conflict of Interest-- and how one could impact competition. Based on recent conversations, some Industry members would like to feel more comfortable competing at the task order level.  
For your reference, here is a definition of an OCI:

"Organizational conflict of interest” means that because of other activities or relationships with other persons, a person is unable or potentially unable to render impartial assistance or advice to the Government, or the person’s objectivity in performing the contract work is or might be otherwise impaired, or a person has an unfair competitive advantage.  [FAR 2.101]

The OASIS team would like to hear from you on this subject. How can GSA better address OCI matters at the master contract level that might assist companies competing at the task order level? As always, feel free to share your thoughts and questions via oasis@gsa.gov.
