The red dot with 15.45% price reduction highlighted - really grabs your attention. The use of the the GSA logo and their contract number at the bottom is right on target! Great job Government Whiteboards!
This contractor is actually using the older versions of the GSA Schedule and SmartPay logos. Contractors should go to www.gsa.gov/logos (and accept the terms) to download the most up-to-date GSA logos.

As a schedule contractor it's important to understand the implications of the Small Business Jobs Act on the Schedules program and specifically what changes are taking place for your customers or potential clients. Learn what you need to know about how the rules on set-asides have changed. Use the resources GSA provides to help you become a resource for your customers. It's another tool in the toolkit that you need to be able to help your customers understand fully.

If you are writing an offer on a Schedule, it is important that you either get it submitted by 7 Dec 2011or make sure that your entries are based on the new refresh. There are a lot of Schedules and they will not refresh the same day but MOBIS, LogWorld, Consolidated, Language and Environmental are all planned to be refreshed on 8 Dec 2011.
If a GSA Schedule holder has a teaming agreement with another GSA schedule holder, whose Category Number applies when bidding? Can the teaming member use the primary's Category Number when bidding if they do not have the category number on their GSA schedule?
For example, the primary has category numbers of 132-33 and 132-34 and the teaming member has a category number of 132-51 (but not 132-33 and 132-34). Can the teaming member bid for an item under the primary's category number if they do not have that number on their GSA Schedule?
geoffm: First, I assume when you refer to "category number" you mean "Special Item Number" or SIN. The numbers in your message, 132-33, 132-34 and 132-55 are all SINS on Schedule 70 IT. So this answer is based...Read More

Thank you to our Greater Southwest Acquisition Center for sharing their tutorial on how to conduct searches within FPDS. (you can find them in the document section of this group). As you know, FPDS is a powerful database that can be used to conduct market research and see what and who are buying in the government. It's a good place to start to develop and hone in on your target market. For questions or comments about these instructions you may contact Sandra Clerk-Brown at 817-850-8211 or sandra.clerk-brown@gsa.gov.
