    Polaris Update - March 2021
    Thank you to everyone who provided feedback to the draft RFP. As demonstrated by several thousand comments, the draft RFP engagement has given the Polaris team a robust perspective  as GSA finalizes development of this governmentwide IT solution. Responses to some of the more frequently asked questions from the draft RFP are provided below. We encourage small businesses to continue following this page as select topics may be posted here on the GSA Small Business GWAC Community of Interest.

    Polaris Draft RFP Issued
    Happy New Year! GSA appreciates the helpful feedback received through this forum. That feedback, along with the robust response to the RFI in October, helped shape the draft Request for Proposals (RFP) that is now available on beta.sam.gov under Notice ID 47QTCB21N0002. We encourage you to review the draft RFP and submit your feedback to Polaris@gsa.gov using the provided response template. We ask that all feedback to this draft be submitted by 4:00 p.m. Central Time on January 29, 2021.

    GSA Posts Polaris RFI on beta.SAM.gov
    On 10/16/2020, GSA posted a request for information (RFI) for the new Polaris GWAC on beta.SAM.gov, under Notice ID 47QTCB21N0001. We encourage all interested small business IT service providers to complete the survey included within the RFI. The survey will remain open through 5:00 p.m. Central Time on October 30, 2020.

    Emerging Technologies - Industry Feedback Request #2
    GSA is exploring different strategies to encourage technological innovation on Polaris. With that goal in mind, we want to expand our customers ability to work with small businesses who have experience with emerging and evolving technologies. In addition to traditional IT service needs, we anticipate demand for IT solutions that include the following technologies:

    GSA hosted a Small Business GWAC Industry Forum on August 27th, 2020, to engage with industry partners on innovations for our next generation Small Business GWAC. If you were unable to attend the forum, a recording will be shared at a later date. Some of our goals for the new GWAC include expanding the industry partner base, providing access to emerging technologies, simplifying proposal submission requirements and improving the customer experience.
