Welcome Back!Thank you for this feedback.  Our firm concurs with this approach; however the draft review will depend on the breadth of the documents.   Allowing 4 weeks for the review process should be sufficient.

The OASIS Team is always soliciting input on our contracts. Recently, we received feedback from federal agency representatives that OASIS would potentially be an even more attractive contract vehicle if it included a geographic pricing structure.

Jim,Thanks for your continued outreach! Our recommendation is that OASIS not include regional pricing.  While the concept of different rates for different parts of the country sounds appealing, it quickly becomes very unwieldy and would not deliver...Read More

The NAICS code that OASIS will be using has generated significant interest and recommendations from Industry. In response to the many comments and suggestions on this subject, the OASIS team engaged in additional extensive research. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.102 states:

Hello Industry Partners, I know you are anxiously awaiting the release of the Draft RFP.  GSA promised it would be released in the summer of 2012 and we are earnestly working to keep that promise.   Our current plan is targeting mid-September, no later than the 18th, to release the Draft RFP.  We know that this falls dramatically in your typical year-end business cycle and aware that your B&P teams will be extremely busy and that some of you may be unable to give the Draft RFP attention before October 1st.

Jim,Whole document is preferable, but getting out the PWS/SOW sooner than the rest is workable from our point of view. The DRFP or PWS can be released in September, just allow extra time to review.

Jim,Can you please provide GSA's defintion of " Equal or Ancillary IT components" in terms of professionals services you are envisioning for this task area?

Hello and thanks for the question.  The phrase “Equal or Ancillary IT components” is a phrase we are no longer using because we thought it confused people.  Basically, what it means for OASIS is that solutions to professional...Read More

GSA anticipates awarding OASIS contracts to firms that primarily provide knowledge-based services through the knowledge and skills of their professional employees in a manner that delivers a total solution to agency requirements. The primary professional service disciplines covered by OASIS include program management and consulting, professional engineering, logistics, and financial.

In order to be eligible for an OASIS award, are companies required to have an existing GSA Schedule contract?
    Amy Fadida
Hi, Jim.I think the last Blog on the release of the DRFPs for OASIS and OASIS SB stated by end of October. Is that still the most current view of when teh draft RFPs will be released? Thanks very much.
    OASIS Blogger
Hello and thanks for the question. Yes, the end of October still looks to be the time when the draft RFPs will be released. We will let everyone know if that changes. Thanks again for the question and have a great day!  Jim
