GSA's catalogs, such as GSA Advantage! provide key information about products and services offered on GSA contracts, such as item name, description, image (when applicable), and price. Catalog management is about ensuring the quality of catalog data, and all of the processes associated with ingesting, validating, enriching, managing, and publishing catalog data. The goal of this modernization is to streamline and improve how GSA manages the data associated with more than 80+ million products and services offered to the federal marketplace, including those on GSA Advantage! The team, with input from all key stakeholders, is working to ensure that
  • Buyers can easily search, identify, and compare offerings that meet their requirements
  • Suppliers can easily add and modify offerings
  • GSA workforce can easily access, analyze, and manage catalogs
