Join us for the October Professional Services virtual Office Hours for the Federal Acquisition Community. This month Larry Mathias, IT Infrastructure Manager for the OASIS Program, will share insights into the OASIS Program data dashboard, the OASIS Discovery Market Research tool, and the OASIS Estimation tool - all designed to support the federal contracting community.

The OASIS interactive data dashboard allows you to interactively view and filter what is happening under the OASIS Program. Updated daily, the data viewable via the dashboard gives you insight into the number of Task Orders awarded under OASIS, who funded them, how much was obligated towards them, and who was awarded the efforts. This dashboard includes a powerful Data Feed capability that allows you to filter and extract information from our data system on OASIS Task Orders, and provides a broad array of available data fields.

Also, you will get to see the OASIS Discovery Market Research Tool, developed by GSA's own 18F team, which pulls together information on OASIS contractors, SAM information, and FPDS-NG experience information to assist you in making intelligent decisions on things like using Set-Asides on OASIS, and what contractors have what experience under the various OASIS functional Pools. This tool is truly innovative, and can save significant time in doing Market Research by eliminating the need to do Requests for Information (RFIs).

Finally, we will take a quick look at the OASIS Estimation Tool, an innovative tool that provides price realism support and inputs for Cost Estimates based on the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Direct Labor Surveys. This tool provides insight into labor pricing, down to the projected Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) geographic region.

GSA's Professional Services monthly Office Hours are designed to address federal customer agency questions about professional services acquisition. The Office Hours focus on a variety of professional service acquisition solutions such as OASIS and OASIS Small Business, the Professional Services Schedule consolidation, Blanket Purchase Agreement evaluation factors, NAICS codes and set asides, and more.

Office Hours are open forum question and answer webinar sessions connecting contracting officers at federal customer agencies with GSA professional services contracting subject matter experts. Attendees can get support to their questions for finding the right solution for their complex professional services acquisition needs.
