CALC allows contracting officers to conduct market research and price analysis for professional labor categories across a database of contract awarded prices for 48,000 labor categories from more than 5,000 recent GSA contracts.

Before CALC, contracting officers had to sift through paper contracts or comb through GSA Advantage files to stitch together a picture of what a fair and reasonable hourly labor rate might be. CALC allows contracting officers to search the database in seconds and return up to hundreds of comparables providing a comparison of fair and reasonable pricing awarded at the contract level that the contracting officer can use to conduct market research.

GSA's Professional Services monthly Office Hours are designed to address federal customer agency questions about professional services acquisition. The Office Hours will focus on a variety of professional service acquisition solutions such as OASIS and OASIS Small Business, the Professional Services Schedule consolidation, Blanket Purchase Agreement evaluation factors, NAICS codes and set asides, and more.

Office Hours are open forum question and answer webinar sessions connecting contracting officers at federal customer agencies with GSA professional services contracting subject matter experts. Attendees can get support to their questions for finding the right solution for their complex professional services acquisition needs.
