GSA's Professional Services Program Management Office monthly Office Hours are designed to address federal customer agency questions about professional services acquisition. This Month's Topic: Performance Management/Continuous Process Improvement Services (PM/CPI) BPA

To best ensure GSA customers have access to a pool of well qualified PM/CPI contractors capable of providing market-leading services to federal agencies government-wide, GSA offers government-wide FSS BPAs to provide PM/CPI services. These services include:

  • Strategic Planning and Performance Management
  • Strategic Business Analyses
  • Process and Performance Improvement
  • Communications and Change Management
  • Training, Certification and Recognition.

PM/CPI BPAs were designed to support several hallmarks of strategic sourcing initiatives.  These include:

  • Defined customer group with requirements tailored to customer needs
  • Data (which allows for deeper business intelligence and commodity management)
  • Improved pricing off of MAS
  • Tiered discounting

Office Hours will be led by Senior Contracting Officer Brad deMers who has served the taxpayer for over 14 years as a Contracting Officer. He began his government acquisition career as a Navy Acquisition Intern with Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) at the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (Bremerton, Washington), working on a wide variety of pre-award and post-award contract actions for supplies and services. He has continued his acquisition career at GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service in Region 10 where he presently works. Brad is currently a Lead Contracting Officer for the Professional Services Category, awarding and administering a variety of requirements for both internal and external customers, and providing training to customers around the nation on using GSA Schedules and OASIS. Brad is Warranted Contracting Officer and holds a FAC-C Level III certification in contracting. Brad Graduated Cum Laude from the University of Washington with a BA in Business Administration in the International Business Program.

Office Hours are open forum question and answer webinar sessions connecting contracting officers and program managers at federal customer agencies with GSA professional services contracting subject matter experts. Attendees can get support to their questions for finding the right solution for their complex professional services acquisition needs.
