Background: IAE and SAM are used by nearly 35,000 contracting professionals and over 500,000 entities including the federal government, grantees, small and large businesses, financial institutions, mortgage companies and more.
The SAM initiative is designed to transition the multiple, stove-piped IAE applications to an integrated workforce tool set for awards management across government. IAE is re-focusing its approach to achieving this by embracing 21st century architectures, agile development and user-centric design approaches to create a transparent, secure, efficient, and accessible environment.
Session Details: This kick-off session will focus on the IAE vision and architectural principles. A series of follow on industry sessions are planned for early 2014 around other related issues, including open data, API strategies, target architecture, and user experience
If you are unable to attend in person due to travel or budget constraints, the session will be live webcast and can be accessed here the day of the event.
