I have spent 14 years selling to the Federal and Military and the past 20 years helping mostly small businesses sell more to Federal/Military customers.

I am building a list of contact intormation for Smartpay cardholders. GSA's Smartpay office tells me they don't have such a list, so I am , online and through the Freedom of Information Act, building a list of Smartpay card holders.

I would be grateful for any advice, suggestions, etc. you all might have that would educate me and help me do a better job at helping small companies not fail at selling to the Federal and Military. I have read too many reports on how various parts of the government and DOD have not met their goals at increasing purchasing from small businesses. I have seen too many good people fail because they could not navigate the complex maze to find the people who needed what they were selling.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ernie Gutierrez

realisticlists@aol.com

Yes, SmartPay and P-Card are synonyms; SmartPay being the official name for the Government Purchase Card. Yes there is a $3,000 micro-purchase limit on the card, although it can be used as a payment tool up to the limit of the cardholder's warrant/authority.
