Updated MAS Consolidation eTools Tips & Resources for Industry

Hello Industry,

Thank you - more than 95 percent of current Schedule contractors have already signed the Jan. 31, 2020 Mass Modification (Mass Mod) updating current contracts to conform with the terms and conditions of GSA’s new consolidated Multiple Award Schedule (MAS). Just a reminder that all current Schedule holders must accept this Mass Mod by July 31, 2020 - failure to do so will result in your offerings no longer being accessible on GSA eTools.

The MAS PMO is dedicated to regularly updating the information we provide to our industry partners and our customers. We hope the resources listed below will answer any questions you still have about the Mass Mod and assist with any buying decisions.

1) The MAS Consolidation Impacts to eTools Presentation (attached) includes screenshots of the changes industry and federal agency partners will see in GSA systems, including eLibrary, eBuy, and GSA Advantage!

2) The SIP and EDI Instructions (attached and housed on the Vendor Support Center (VSC)) have been updated. You must have SIP version 8.5. If you need to download the current version, please go to this link on the VSC.

  • The GSA Advantage! Price List Text File Guide is also available to provide our contractors with more specific instructions for updating price lists (attached and housed on the VSC). As a reminder, please do not update your price list to the new SIN structure or upload a new SIP file until after you have signed the MAS Mass Mod (A812).

3) Market the MAS Program and the benefits of consolidation to your customers with the new MAS Consolidation Customer Brochure, available for download in CMLS. Buying from MAS? Read the brochure to learn more about the changes and benefits of each consolidation phase.

4) The industry-focused MAS Modification Guidance recorded training has been posted on our YouTube channel. This new guide is for contractors that have already signed the MAS Consolidation Mass Mod A812.

5) See the important Add SIN Guidance (attached) if you are a contractor with more than one MAS contract.

If you received this notice via email, please visit the MAS Interact page to find the post’s attachments.

As always, please reach out to maspmo@gsa.gov with any questions or concerns.

We appreciate your continued partnership.
