I want to thank everyone for their participation and feedback in last week’s public meeting on the Commercial Platform initiative. I was happy to see over 150 attendees at GSA Headquarters as well as close to 200 attendees online. A great turnout that reflects your commitment to providing feedback throughout the phases of this effort. (Note: See the attached list for those attendees who joined us in-person)
For those of you that would like to review the transcript from last week’s public meeting, it is attached below.
Also, as a reminder, to assist GSA and OMB in drafting the Phase II implementation plan, interested parties have been invited to submit written comments to two recently released Requests for Information (RFIs). We are seeking more detailed feedback from suppliers selling on commercial e-commerce portals and providers of commercial e-commerce portals regarding initial ideas for general program design, terms and conditions, and product categories. All comments must be submitted by July 20th, 2018. More details regarding these RFIs can be found here.
As you may have heard me state in last week’s meeting, GSA doesn’t know all the answers and we’re looking to you to help provide feedback in a variety of areas. All of the questions that we’re putting out there for discussion are designed to help us understand this market and to create an open and transparent process.
