The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) Integrated Workplace Acquisition Center (IWAC) is planning to refresh GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) 71 IIK to incorporate the following changes:

Schedule 71 IIK, SIN 712 3 Reconfiguration/Relocation Management (Furniture and Furniture Related), will be incorporating Schedule 48, SIN 653 8 Office Relocation and all subsequent contracts. In addition, SIN 712 3 will now read as follows, effective May 15, 2018:

SIN 712 3 Office Relocation/Reconfiguration Management Solutions

A full range of services for relocating and/or reconfiguring existing office furniture, equipment, and related supplies. Services include but are not limited to the following: pre-move planning, relocation plan designing, reorganizing, consolidating, warehousing, staging, packing/crating, loading/unloading, delivery, setup, and related ancillary supplies such as packing materials.

For Existing SIN 712 3 Contract Holders:

No action is required at this time

For Existing 653 8 Contract Holders with no other SINs:

Effective July 1, 2018, SIN 653 8 contracts will be “lifted and shifted” to Schedule 71 IIK. Between the period of July 1 and September 29, 2018, affected contracts will need to individually submit a modification to add SIN 712 3 and delete 653 8.

Effective October 1, 2018, SIN 653 8 will no longer be available.

For Existing 653 8 Contract Holders with other SINs:

SIN 653 8 will be removed from all schedule 48 contracts. To continue offering Office Relocation/Reconfiguration Management Solutions to the government, a contractor must apply for a Schedule 71 IIK, SIN 712 3 contract.


The SIN 653 8 Office Relocation Services SOW attachment to the Schedule 48 solicitation will be deleted and will not be incorporated into Schedule 71 II K.

The following NAICS codes will be added to Schedule 71 II K SIN 712 3 in conjunction with these changes:

484210 Used Household and Office Goods Moving

This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in providing local or long-distance trucking of used household, used institutional, or used commercial furniture and equipment. Incidental packing and storage activities are often provided by these establishments.  

488991 Packing and Crating

This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in packing, crating, and otherwise preparing goods for transportation.
