Request for Information: Verified Products Portal Terms of Use Agreement

On behalf of GSA, FAS’s Office of Policy and Compliance is engaging with industry partners to obtain feedback on the Verified Products Portal (VPP).  This notice provides additional information regarding GSA’s VPP initiative, to include a draft Terms of Use (ToU) agreement and instructions for submitting feedback.

The goal of this market research is to gain input on:

  • Manufacturer and wholesaler interest in VPP participation
  • The draft ToU agreement for manufacturer and wholesaler partners

The VPP will leverage manufacturer-provided product data and rich media to the authoritative catalog repository.  This portal will modernize the way FAS manages letters of supply by capturing manufacturer and wholesaler information about authorized resellers and the products they are authorized to sell.  The data populated by participating manufacturers and wholesalers in the VPP will provide important validation functionality and supply chain risk benefits, and is a key point of convergence for Catalog Management.  The portal will be hosted by a third-party contractor on a non-government site.  For more information, please see GSA Awards Contract to Data Enrichment Provider XSB to Build Out the Verified Products Portal (VPP) and the attached VPP Manufacturer and Wholesaler Fact Sheet.

Please click here to access the Request for Information.  Responses are due by 11:59pm ET, July 16, 2020.
