GSA IT Schedule 70 to Incorporate Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Tools Special Item Number (SIN 132-44)

Overview

The General Services Administration (GSA), Office of IT Schedule Contract Operations, is establishing a new Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Tools Special Item Number (SIN) 132-44.  The CDM Tools SIN supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) CDM Program to provide a consistent set of continuous diagnostic and mitigation tools for government wide use.  Customers will have one centralized location to access pre-vetted CDM offerings.

Purpose and Benefits of Planned Action

The purpose and benefits of adding SIN 132-44, Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Tools, are:

·         Easy access to products and services and the latest commercial offerings;

·         Increased visibility of CDM offerings for government-wide use;

·         Flexibility in contract durations and in addressing dynamic mission needs;

·         Cost efficiencies in management of data;

·         Easy recurring purchasing provisions;

·         Fast ordering process; and

·         Increase value to the US Taxpayer.
