FAS Employees Help Troops with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Nearly 20 percent of soldiers who have returned from Iraq and Afghanistan have reported symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). When the Department of Veterans Affairs wanted to improve the care given to these soldiers, they turned to FAS for help.

FAS Employees from Region 2 enhanced a Special Item Number from one of GSA's Multiple Award Schedules, allowing the VA to provide effective mental health services to troops in need.
