Free Training – How to use IT Schedule 70

Did you know that you can request GSA IT Schedule 70 to come and talk with your customers about the benefits of using IT Schedule 70 contract vehicle? IT Schedule 70 is designed to enable Government agencies to purchase commercial products services and solutions. Also, GSA offers Government buyers free training and provides them with informational material about the benefits.

Such benefits include the following:
 • Acquisition lead time is reduced.
 • Schedules provide a wide selection of state-of-the-art commercial supplies and services.
 • Schedule orders are not required to be synopsized.
 • GSA has already determined Schedule prices to be fair and reasonable.

Hi jag51. My apologies for not getting back to you sooner, but we at IT Schedule 70 are unsure what you mean by "Sales Agent." We want to get you the right answer to your question, can you clarify what you mean by that term? Thank you.

Question - does GSA recognize a "sales agent" situation as opposed to a reseller or distributor? Please note, this is after the contract is awarded whereby the awardee wishes to add a software product on its schedule contract, but the awardee is not a licensee or owner of the software, but rather, wishes to provide the software on its schedule under an agency theory (i.e., "agent for a disclosed principal") who would be the software provider - is this possible? If so, where can I go to for guidance?

The end user license agreement would be entered into by the contractor, as agent for the disclosed principal, with Orderin Activity.

There is no longer a separate dealer/reseller spreadsheet, but all vendors offering products (whether a reseller or not) need to submit a CSP-1 and a Schedule 70 Discount Proposal Spreadsheet. These documents are attachments to the Solicitation and can be found at this link: http://gsa.gov/portal/category/100923.
