Welcome back to the OASIS Interact website.  Last week, members of our OASIS Team went out to San Antonio, Texas for GSA Expo where they met various stakeholders and gathered a whole lot of information.  They answered questions and gathered data for our ongoing market research.  Unfortunately, due to some health issues, I was not able to attend personally, but all the reports I’ve gotten are uniformly positive.  Rest assured that we will be taking all this information in and reviewing it as we move forward on our Acquisition Plan and our Draft Request for Proposal (RFP).

I’d like to provide you all a little more insight into the nature of those sessions. GSA Expo will be held in San Antonio, TX from May 15 thru May 17. GSA Expo provides extensive training opportunities to federal, state, and local government employees and military members as well as showcases the wide variety of goods and services available on GSA contract vehicles.

Today, I was fortunate enough to be able to speak to TechAmerica's Federal Civil Group about OASIS. As stated previously, when I attend meetings like this, I will share my presentation (if any) along with a summary of the discussion, in the interests of transparency. I provided an overview of the OASIS program:  its background, challenges, and benefits. The presentation is attached here. During the conversation, I reiterated the themes I've been discussing in my blog.

Hello! For those of you visiting this community today, you may be asking yourselves, “What’s OASIS?” As you can see, Integrations has been renamed. OASIS, the official name of our new total professional services solution with an IT component, stands for One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services. We believe this new name, generated with input from industry members, is representative of the true value this vehicle will bring to the Federal government.

Welcome to the Integrations blog! My name is Jim Ghiloni and I’m the new Integrations PMO team lead. I wanted to come here and post a little about myself and provide a quick update. First, though, I want to take the opportunity to thank my predecessor, Lisa Maguire, for all the outstanding work she has done getting us to this point with Integrations. She has built an incredible foundation here and I look forward to the chance to continue along the path she has laid down. Thanks, Lisa!
