Chat with Lisa Maguire, Integrations Program Executive

Many of you know that GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service began an internal business case to determine the viability of a new hybrid acquisition vehicle for complex integrated professional services with an IT component. I am pleased to report that the internal business case is complete and its findings are being discussed and coordinated with the various interested parties within FAS. This initiative has been referred to as “Integrations” for quite some time. However, we feel that there is a name more representative of the true value such a vehicle will bring to the Federal government.

"Fusion” was suggested as an alternative tag. I believe there are other ideas out there and that industry can help! For example, when FAS launched the Financial and Business Solutions Schedule, it was industry that came up with the name and suggested it to GSA. So, I know there are lots of creative industry partners with tons of great ideas who can help GSA with this task. I would love to hear your thoughts. In particular, I am looking for a name that:

 • Has branding potential;
 • May contain a meaningful acronym; and
 • Differentiates the program in three words or less.

Feel free to post your ideas here, or if you prefer anonymity, you may submit your suggestions to ciad.innovation@gsa.gov.

Keep coming back to this site, and I'll keep you up to date with our progress.

Highest regards,

Lisa Maguire, Integrations Program Executive

Professional Service Solutions and Technology: PSST Also, if you just want a word that captures the idea, but has not been overused, how about "immix?"

Thank you for two more creative suggestions for renaming Integrations. Both are thought-provoking! We are also interested in one-word names that are not acronyms but that evoke the sense of the acquisition - kind of like FUSION does. Other ideas?

Thank you for another creative name for this program. While Integrations is a professional service acquisition with IT components, the ultimate objectives are service-related rather than a Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) with IT objectives. We would like the name to "capture" the fine nuance that Integrations is intended to have service-related objectives. I would invite you to describe the name CAPTURE in those terms so we can best evaluate its relatability to the program. Looking forward to your response!
