Doing Business with GSA Webinar Series Discussion Board

people building a bridge to success

During our virtual training sessions on the "Doing Business with GSA" Web Series we often have small businesses that would like to connect. So we have created this discussion area to provide a source of community for those of you who understand that value.

Please do not market on this page.

This space is for all businesses large and small who would like you to share your experiences, tips, advice and contact information so that you can build partnership to take you into a brighter and more successful future.

The most successful companies have successful partners!

For Release: November 16th, 2013 For more information please contact: Rich Collins 610-558-4000 608 Chadds Ford Dr. Suite 200 Chadds Ford, PA 19317 Roofing Resources Develops New Sustainable, Energy Efficient R-50 Roofing Insulation for GSA and Federal Agencies November 16th, 2013, Chadds Ford, PA – Roofing Resources Inc, announced today a new and improved roofing insulation system designed specifically for federal building regulations, under it’s currently awarded GSA contract number GS-07F-5624P. Their new Vacuum Insulated Panels (VIP) were developed earlier this year in combination with Guardian Panel Systems Inc. The new panel is a highly efficient insulation material that can provide resistance up to 10 times greater per unit of thickness versus traditional insulation. This is accomplished in only 1 inch thickness and is ideally suited for low slope roof applications. This one inch of insulation can provide energy efficiency ratings of R-50 or higher. To accomplish this with traditional insulation can take up to15 inches of insulation leading to costly modifications of the building structure. The R-50 roofing insulation panel was tested by GSA within the Green Proving Grounds, and favorably reviewed by Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The process of installation is currently patent pending. The roofing panels themselves are currently being processed as an EPA approved item. The basic panel is currently awarded under Roofing Resources GSA contract. Roofing Resources, Inc. (RRI), is a woman owned small business, providing specialized experience, technical excellence and compliance in design/build roofing, waterproofing, photovoltaic, green roofs and building envelope projects. RRI's professional design and construction qualifications are unequalled in the roofing building envelope arena. RRI is a pre-qualified GSA Advantage Vender (GS-07F-5624P).
Christy, I hope you don't consider the following "marketing" but understand my intention is to connect to others. My contact info is Heidi Ivey, heidi.ivey@apalytics.com. I attend as many of these webinars to understand how small business like Apalytics can obtain information to do more business with the GSA. Our GSA# is GS35F187AA. We provide IT network and application analytical services but since we perform an expert niche service, it's hard to find potential govt buyers who specifically need those skills. An RFQ rarely calls for our specific service, so it seems we need to connect to other partners who need help in this realm when they do not have the expertise that we offer. I welcome any new connections.
