Dear Former GSA Colleagues:

Is there a written policy within GSA FAS that addresses a single line item/product being awarded on two different schedules? If so, where/how can that document be obtained?

When talking with various GSA 1102s in several Centers and Headquarters, there is a difference of opinion on the subject. However, no reference or citation can be provided for a specific response. For example, toner cartridges fit on schedule 36 and are also available on MAS 75, SIN 75 200.

A federal requirement listed on e-Buy under MAS 36 may not be available to a contractor who only offers this product on MAS 75 200, unless the CO is aware that his/her requirement is available under both schedules.

Your assistance in this matter is much appreciated.

Kindest Regards,

Byron E Strain,

Managing Partner

Federal Management solutions, LLC
