A Special Treat for Your Holiday BBQ

Labor Day weekend has become known as the unofficial end of summer. Kids are either back in school or headed there soon; families are settling into a fall routine; football season is upon us; and the Office of Small Business Utilization (OSBU) is working hard to help you find more ways to succeed!

Get back into the groove after your long weekend with our webinar,  Understand How to Access Procurement Opportunities. This brief training, followed by a Q and A session, teaches you how to identify and understand when opportunities are available through targeted data for your strategic planning. It takes a look at GSA's small business goals and newly posted procurements, and includes a review of GSA sources for procurement opportunities -- both planned and posted.

Considering becoming a Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) vendor? Check out Becoming a GSA Schedule Vendor. This training will help you decide whether that’s the right move for you. It takes a look at how to understand the various GSA Schedule Contracts, how to qualify for one, and how to maintain that contract. You’ll learn about the application process and optional certifications like Veteran-owned small business or HUBZone (among others)  that can give you an edge when pursuing business opportunities. Finally, we will introduce you to the Vendor Toolbox and other small business resources available to you and your company.

If you can’t make it to either of these courses, don’t worry … they are offered regularly.  Keep in mind, class size is limited, so please
