The New Year is the perfect time to sign up for acquisition training and gain CLP credits! The new FY2018 classes are available in FAITAS, and you may register by following the links below. Note that Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) are offered (except for 1 Industry webinar) and are issued directly in a student’s FAITAS account. The webinars teach students how to enhance competition, achieve small business utilization, procure sustainable acquisitions, and much more. All courses are free. FCL-GSA-0134 IT Schedule 70 Professional Services

3-Jan-2018, 1pm-2pm ET

This course focuses on how federal, state, local, and tribal governments, and higher education can use SIN 132-51 to procure complex IT solutions, including how an agency can establish Single or Multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for recurring purchasing requirements. This is a one (1) CLP credit course.



FCL-GSA-0048 Buying Services Through GSA Schedules

4-Jan-2018, 10:30am-3pm ET

This course is designed for ordering agencies that require GSA Schedule services. The GSA Schedules program offers a vast array of services and products, and offers a streamlined way to acquire these services. This course provides ordering activities with valuable information about the services available through GSA Schedules, how to find them, and the procedures and requirements that apply when ordering these cost-effective service solutions. This is a four (4) CLP credit course.



FCL-GSA-0041 GSA Alliant and Alliant Small Business GWACs

9-Jan-2018, 1pm-3pm ET

Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) enable federal agencies to buy cost-effective, innovative solutions for information technology (IT)requirements. Most, if not all, government agencies have a need to buy IT services and solutions. GSA has made this convenient through its GWAC Programs. In this course, you will learn about the Alliant & Alliant Small Business GWAC Program offered through GSA. This is a two (2) CLP credit course.



FCL-GSA-0038 How to Integrate Green into Acquisition

10-Jan-2018, 10am-Noon ET

Federal agencies are required by statute and executive order to purchase certain products with specific environmental or energy attributes. “Green purchasing” or “sustainable acquisition” refers to purchasing products with these attributes, and purchasing services under which these products will be supplied or used. In this course, we will examine additional options for minimizing the environmental impact of your acquisitions beyond requiring the use or supply of green products. It is possible to incorporate environmental considerations into any acquisition, regardless of size, scope, type, or complexity. This is a two (2) CLP credit course.



FCL-GSA-0136 Training Courses and Electronic Commerce

10-Jan-2018, 1pm-2pm ET

This course focuses on Training Courses and Electronic Commerce solutions. Learn how Federal, State, Local, and tribal agencies can use Training Courses Special Item Number (SIN) 132-50, to order training products, services, and solutions from GSA Schedule 70. You will also learn how to order from the Electronic Commerce Special Item Number (SIN 132-52) for solutions including: network services, email services, internet access services, electronic subscription services, data transmission services, and emerging electronic commerce technologies. This is a one (1) CLP credit course.



FCL-GSA-0036 GSA Schedules BPAs

11-Jan-2018, 10am-Noon ET

In this course, you will learn how Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) leverage an ordering activity’s buying power by taking advantage of quantity discounts, saving administrative time, and reducing paperwork. This is a two (2) CLP credit course.



FCL-GSA-0145 Category Management and Acquisition Gateway Advanced

This course presents an advanced look at category management and the Acquisition Gateway. The Acquisition Gateway helps federal government buyers from all agencies act as one acquisition community. OASIS and OASIS Small Business (SB) are multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contractsthat provide flexible and innovative solutions for complex professional services. Before issuing task orders using OASIS or OASIS SB, Federal Contracting Officers (COs) must complete training and receive a Delegation of Procurement Authority (DPA). Training will cover: basic contract information, scope, ordering process, roles & responsibilities, and resources. The course is designed for 1102-Series Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists (CSs), Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), and Contract Review Officials. This is a two (2) CLP credit course.
