The new course builds off of the success of Alliant, and creates a contract vehicle that provides a total solution to agencies' requirements while maximizing opportunities. FCL-GSA-0036 GSA Schedules BPAs

A GSA Schedule Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is an agreement established by a government buyer with a Schedule contractor to fill repetitive needs for supplies or services. In this course, you will learn how BPAs leverage an ordering activity’s buying power by taking advantage of quantity discounts, saving administrative time, and reducing paperwork. This is a two (2) CLP credit course.

 

FCL-GSA-0048 Buying Services Through GSA Schedules

This course is designed for ordering agencies that require GSA Schedule services. The GSA Schedules program offers a vast array of services and products, and offers a streamlined way to acquire these services. This course provides ordering activities with valuable information about the services available through GSA Schedules, how to find them, and the procedures and requirements that apply when ordering these cost-effective service solutions. Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) enable federal agencies to buy cost-effective, innovative solutions for information technology (IT) requirements. Because most, if not all, government agencies have a need to buy IT services and solutions, GSA has made this purchasing convenient through its GWAC Programs. In this continuous learning module, you will learn about the 8(a) STARS II, Alliant, Alliant 2, Alliant Small Business, Alliant 2 Small Business and VETS 2 GWACs. This is a two (2) CLP credit course.

           

FCL-GSA-0029 GSA Schedules vs. Open Market

6-Aug-2019 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm ET    

This course will familiarize you with commonly-used methods of acquisition: issuing task or delivery orders under GSA’s Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) (FAR Subpart 8.4), and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR 13 or negotiating a stand-alone contract under FAR Part 15. This course will explore the differences and similarities between Subpart 8.4 and Parts 13 & 15 procedures, advantages and disadvantages for various situations, and help you analyze the alternatives as you develop your acquisition strategy.
