Release 10.2 Scheduled for February 25

Please plan for the USAccess service and role holder portals to be unavailable for most of the weeend for Release 10.2. This release launches the Temporary Card pilot with the U.S. Department of Treasury. While Treasury is the only agency who can issue temporary cards during this pilot, there are some areas (Applicant Status Report, Reports Portal) where role holders from all agencies will see references to temporary cards.

It also includes an update to the Card Action Wizard (CAW) summary page to indicate the last enrollment date for the Applicant and whether an upgraded action (i.e.; reissuance) is needed in order to issue a card with a full 5 year life, and a change to the enrollment application that makes the Comments field mandatory if the Registrar marks the Applicant’s documents for more validation.

This release also includes support for a new model of the Canon Rebel cameras used during enrollments. The Canon T5 is being removed from the APL, so all LCS kits (starting in February 2017) will ship with the Canon T6 camera.

Please see the draft Release 10.2 notice posted on the Agency Lead Portal for more details.
