OMB and GSA will be conducting our second modified town-hall style public meeting in furtherance of the Commercial e-Commercial Portal initiative. This meeting will take place on Thursday, June 21st from 8:30AM - 1:00PM EST at the GSA Auditorium, GSA Headquarters, located at 1800 F St NW, Washington, DC 20405. Attendees can attend the meeting in person or online through GSA’s virtual meeting platform, Adobe Connect.
To register for in-person attendance, please click here.
Registration will be open until COB Thursday, June 14th. For questions related to in-person registration, please email section846@gsa.gov. Note: Space is limited in the GSA Auditorium and advance registration is required for in-person attendance.
GSA is planning to share information related to the approach proposed in the Phase I deliverable and to respond to questions from industry. Additionally, the team is seeking feedback from providers of commercial e-commerce portals as well as suppliers selling on commercial e-commerce portals. This feedback will help the Government inform its Phase 2 deliverable and help us to design our FY19 proof of concept. Parties wishing to participate as a panel member should email section846@gsa.gov by June 14, 2018, with the subject line “Request to be panelist” and should identify their company, role in company, and a short statement about their interest / qualifications for being a panelist.
A formal agenda for this public meeting will be shared in the coming weeks to the Commercial Platform Interact group.
Virtual Attendance
Registration is not required to attend the online broadcast of the meeting through GSA’s virtual meeting platform. Over the coming weeks, we will add additional details to this Commercial Platform Interact group regarding the virtual meeting logistics.
In Person Attendance
The main entrance to GSA Headquarters (also referred to GSA Central Office) is located on F St NW between 18th St NW and 19 St NW. However, GSA recommends attendees use the South Lobby entrance on E St NW (between 18th St NW and 19 St NW) and arrive at least 30 minutes early to avoid long lines and delays in the lobby area. Directional sides will be posted in the building to guide attendees to the GSA Auditorium.
All non-Federal employees must display a picture ID, pass through a metal detector, and have packages scanned. Visitors will be given a visitor badge, which must be displayed on their outer garment, above the waist, at all times while in the building.
Thank you for your ongoing support of the Commercial Platform initiative.
