OASIS Interact Community

It has been quite a while since we conducted our OASIS Naming Survey. I’d like to thank everyone who responded here on Interact as well as all of the GSA employees who helped us brainstorm the initial selection of names.  As you may recall, we were exploring the possibility of renaming the full-and-openly competed OASIS contract so that it would be more easily distinguished from the OASIS Program as a whole.

Though it is a bit anticlimactic, I am pleased to announce that we will not be changing the name after all.  The results of the survey were somewhat mixed, but there was a plurality in favor of just leaving things as they are.  After reviewing the comments and discussing both internally and with various stakeholders, we’ve decided to stick with OASIS and OASIS Small Business.  Again, thank you for your feedback and support!
