NEW Training! Advanced Category Management and the Acquisition Gateway

This advanced course is designed for those who have signed up for the Acquisition Gateway and who have also completed the Acquisition Gateway 101 class. In this course, individuals will learn more about category management, its benefits, and what it means for contract vehicles to be given Best-In-Class designations. This class will also feature an in-depth interactive case study in which individuals will use the Gateway to help develop a hypothetical acquisition project. The interactive case study will allow individuals to build a project in Project Center, conduct market research with Solutions Finder, and find the best product for the best value with the Prices Paid Portal. The class will also explore the Government-wide Category Management structure on the Gateway through the Hallways.

If you want to know more about how the Gateway and Category Management works for you, join us on Thursday, March 16 from 1:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. ET.  To attend, follow the FAITAS registration instructions and select the class, “FCL-GSA-0145: Category Management and Acquisition Gateway Advanced.” (2 CLPs). Detailed participation info will follow. Please add the class information to your calendar.

Note - In order to sign in to the Acquisition Gateway at https://hallways.cap.gsa.gov, you must be a federal government employee and you first need an Office of Management and Budget MAX User ID. OMB MAX registration is a one-time activity. This video demonstrates the step-by-step process for logging in the first time: https://youtu.be/VoO902NCKpY
