New SIN for Office Administrative Services and a Webinar for the Human Resources Line of Business (HRLOB) Update Coming Soon!


Based on customer feedback, GSA is making several changes to Special Item Numbers (SINs) in the Office Management and Human Capital large categories on the new consolidated Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) for products, services, and solutions. GSA’s Northeast and Carribean Supply and Acquisition Center and the Office of Customer and Stakeholder Engagement (CASE) are adding a new NACIS-based Special Item Number (SIN 561110) for Office Administrative Services and combining the two current SINs for Human Resources Line of Business (HRLOB) into a single modernized one (SIN 541612LOB). These changes will go into effect on July 1, 2020.

New Office Administrative Services SIN

The new NAICS-based SIN for Office Administrative Services (SIN 561110) lives under the MAS Office Management large category (Office Services subcategory) of the MAS program. This new SIN will help customers more easily search for and identify specific support services to meet their mission-critical needs. 

The scope of SIN 561110 covers a wide range of turnkey day-to-day office administrative support services including clerical/ secretarial functions, data entry, payroll administration, recordkeeping, travel preparation, scheduling, note taking, meeting management, drafting memos/notes/letters, purchasing/requisitioning supplies, and logistics.

Human Resources Line of Business Update & Webinar

To better serve customer agencies by clarifying the scope of services provided within the MAS Human Capital large category, we are merging two SINs of the consolidated schedule into a new SIN. The SINs to be combined are 541612OPM and 541612PSSC. The new NAICS-based SIN is “541612LOB”.  

SIN 541612LOB will provide technology solutions in support of other SINs in the Human Capital category. This includes, but is not limited to, software, technology, systems, and related solutions. Services and products offered under this SIN must be in support of one or more of the 15 functions/ 54 sub-functions in the human capital lifecycle.
