Industry Training: FAS Sales Reporting System (Transactional-Level Sales Data)

FAS Sales Reporting System is a single system where GSA vendors can report their IFF (Industrial Funding Fee) applicable sales to GSA. The portal supports the collection of transactional-level sales data for the TDR pilot and will eventually house the Quarterly IFF reporting function for all vendors.  This webinar will feature a live demonstration of TDR reporting function with a focus on the vendor/user perspective on MAS contracts. This demonstration is designed to complement the tutorial found on the ‘FAS Sales Reporting’ website and will be followed by a Q & A session.

Note: We are essentially breaking down the Live Version into three 30 minute sessions with an additional 30 minutes afforded for Q&A. The three sessions are as follows: Reporting, Sales Adjustments, and Payment/Search Function.

Session 1 “Reporting Sales” will address reporting sales via Form Entry, File Upload and the Quarterly Reporting function. We will discuss how to report multiple scenarios including reporting “Zero” sales, multiple TDR eligible Schedule Contracts on one spreadsheet using the file upload method and how to report sales for those who have both a Monthly (TDR) and Quarterly (72a) reporting requirement.

Start Time:  07/24/2018 10:00 AM Eastern Time

End Time:  07/24/2018 11:00 AM Eastern Time

Session 2 “Sales Adjustments” will focus on how to adjust sales to those contracts demonstrated in the Session 1 Reporting Demo.  We will discuss best practice to mitigate the level of effort needed to adjust your sales and how to report a return, volume, and prompt payment discount.

Start Time:  07/26/2018 10:00 AM Eastern Time

End Time:  07/26/2018 11:00 AM Eastern Time

Session 3 “Payment/Search Function” will focus on the payment process, understanding what happens when a downward sales adjustment occurs and its applicable credit is applied. Additionally we will discuss how to use the search features and how the landing page can and will be your friend (shortcuts). Finally, we will demonstrate and discuss the “Request Administrative Closeout” function for those who have completed their final closeout reporting requirement.

Start Time:  07/31/2018 10:00 AM Eastern Time

End Time:  07/31/2018 11:00 AM Eastern Time
