Important Update on MAS Consolidation for the Information Technology Category

On October 1, 2019, GSA will publish and begin accepting new offers under one consolidated Schedule solicitation. This post provides information about the structure of Information Technology goods and services within the consolidated Schedule solicitation and provides links to resources and information on the consolidation.

New Schedule Structure

GSA’s IT Schedule 70 offerings will fall under the  Information Technology (IT) Large Category, and will be made up of seven subcategories:

  1. Electronic Commerce
  2. IT Hardware
  3. IT Services
  4. IT Software
  5. IT Solutions
  6. IT Training
  7. Telecommunications

All Schedule 70 current offerings are included on the new consolidated Schedule. Offerings are mapped to new SIN names and identifying numbers. In addition, some current SINs are merged for the consolidated Schedule solicitation. For example::

  • 132-32 & 132-33 will become 511210 - Software Licenses,
  • 132-60A - F will become 541519ICAM - Identity, Credentialing and Access Management (ICAM), and
  • 132-54 & 132-55 will become 517410 - Commercial Satellite Communications Solutions (COMSATCOM).

The full consolidated Schedule Large Category, Subcategory, and Special Item Number (SIN) structure for the consolidated Schedule solicitation is available on GSA.gov

FASt Lane: Information Technology offers that are FASt Lane eligible can be awarded within 45 days.  Due to this transition, FASt Lane awards will be temporarily on hold from October 2019 to January 2020. However, on a case-by-case basis, a contracting officer may award a FASt Lane eOffer upon a written special request from an eligible Ordering Agency. Offerors that are interested in FASt Lane are encouraged to submit eOffers prior to October 1, 2019.

Please note that the October 1st release of the new consolidated solicitation (Phase 1) is applicable to new offerors. Current Schedule holders will be receiving more information later this calendar year pertaining to Phase 2 of MAS Consolidation, which begins January 2020.

Please review the MAS Consolidated Solicitation Advance Notice and Industry FAQs for additional information.

Questions and comments can be submitted to maspmo@gsa.gov.
