GSA Reverse Auction Platform Training for Buyers

End Time:   12:00 p.m. ET

GSA has launched its government managed Reverse Auction Platform. It went live July 1, 2013, and is ready for use. This training will provide users of the system information on the benefits of using reverse auctioning to obtain quotes, prices paid data and level 3 agency spend data. It will also take users through the auction process utilizing the tool and offer a question and answer session.


1. Click here to go to the webinar login page:  http://gsafas.adobeconnect.com/reverseauctionsb1/

2. Click the top radio button, ‘Enter as a Guest’ and type in your full name.  (*you must register for the training session at https://interact.gsa.gov/gsa-training to receive CLP credit*)

3. Click ‘Enter Room’.  (There is no Password).

You will be connected to an audio bridge using your computer’s speakers (VoIP).  No phone is necessary.  Turn up your computer volume and uncheck ‘mute’.  A question-and-answer period will be provided at the end of the session via Chat.

Attendees will receive 1 CLP credit.

<p>One suggestion for the new GSA auction platform would be to enable GSA contract holders to view available auctions right from their ebuy page as opposed to having to log out from ebuy and then log back into the auction site. This feature would save time for vendors and potentially could increase the visibility and participation for GSA.</p><p>Any thoughts on the potential of this request?</p><p>Thanks</p><p>Lori</p>
