In support of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in April 2020, the U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) established four Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA) to provide emergency hospital support services in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington states. The BOAs are prepositioned contract agreements that allow FEMA and state and local governments within these states to quickly procure hospital services should they be needed as part of the nation’s COVID-19 response.
To support local and state governments in using the BOAs, ordering guidance is available on the GSA managed Acquisition Gateway COVID-19 Acquisition Resources Hub including:
BOA services are accessible to state and local agencies through GSA’s Disaster Purchasing Program.
GSA will host a webinar on February 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Pacfic Time to help state and local agencies in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington who need support in acquiring these hospital support services. Click here to register.
State and local government with questions about ordering hospital support services should contact Hope Mitchell at Hope.Mitchell@gsa.gov or (253) 931-7136.
