GSA’s Vendor Education Center Retiring 12/17/21

As you may know from our October Interact post, GSA is updating our new vendor training and retiring the Vendor Education Center (VEC) - changes that will make it even easier for first time offerors to get on GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract!

We’re really excited about these improvements because of how much easier it makes the application process for new offerors to do business with the federal government.

The VEC will be officially retired and removed from the MAS contract language in the MAS Refresh #9 on Dec. 17, 2021. At that time, all required new offeror training will move to the gsa.gov MAS Roadmap and be accessible from the new forthcoming Vendor Support Center (VSC).

We’re really excited about these improvements as they streamline and simplify the process to apply to get on Schedule. As of Dec. 17th, new contractors will no longer have to keep a VEC login or navigate old technology to take their required training. Instead, they’ll enjoy updated, on-demand training that reflects all the key changes we’ve made to the MAS program over the past several years.
