FedBizOpps Notice-GSA Regional Local Service Agreement Extension



This notice advises that General Services Administration (GSA) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, for continued performance for up to a five year period the 65 (sixty-five) Regional Local Service Agreement (LSA) contracts listed in the Notice.  The purpose of the extension period is to facilitate a smooth and carefully managed transition to the NS2020 Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) contracts which are expected to be awarded in the fall of 2016.

<p>We understood there are currently 83 LSAs, yet only 65 are being extended.&nbsp; Please explain - are the 18 contracts that will not be extended currently being used to provide any services?&nbsp; Or are the expiration dates for those contracts sufficiently in the future that GSA did not feel extensions were needed?&nbsp; Thanks!</p>
